MY GIRLFRIEND DOES THAT...BUT SHE'S STOPPING .... every time she wants a certain bag...the top designers it's always out..and she 's on a waiting list...so she never really gets the one she wants...and she has the Highest level ($249.00) a month....so she can get the nicest bags....she says it takes about 7 days to get the bag there....7/10 days to get a bag back...so for all that money...she gets about 1 week use...out of a bag.....and sometimes ....if you get a scratch on it...you got to report it right away. So they can determine the damage and what you should pay...if you need to...don't ever loose a bag...if you don't buy the shipping insurance with the monthly membership...(19.00) a month you can be liable for the original cost of the bag...try paying $1500, for a bag you don't even have...ouch....

I think it's stupid. Sorry if I offend anyone here.

I don't see the point in renting a purse. If I was going to rent something, then it would be a formal dress or gown. A purse is the last thing I worry about when I want to look nice. Most people don't notice them anyway, unless the bag is so big that you can't miss it from a mile away.

I would spend the same amount on a less expensive brand in the same color/style that you buy to keep forever. It wouldn't be a waste of money since I could use it again instead of returning it to the rental store.

Or

I would take the money and put it towards a more important item for my outfit. I would rather have a great dress and ugly purse than a boring dress with a designer handbag.

I think it's a great concept, and I wish I'd thought of it! I would probably cycle through a few very high end bags in a season. I'm looking at buying a bag around $1200 and although it would be "classic" to me and I could use it for years, I'm sure I'll tire of it and want to switch to something new in a few months. Maybe I'll reconsider and rent!

I think its a cool idea, but I would never borrow a designer handbag. With all the money you are investing in rental fees and such, you might as well buy your own!!

Definatly a unique Idea but it would be hard because purse tend to get dirty inside and out so you would have to figure cleaning issues and it may not be worth it in the end. And why would they rent it? Just to wow someone with a lable?

I like the idea, and thought about joining that club...but you're locked in for a year, and it gets pricey...with the price range they want, i would only rent one each week, and change it up constantly.

i don't generally carry a purse, i use the diaper bag for my wallet. but women that do and cant afford to buy one might do it, you would be constantly cleaning them though. those things get dirty.
