When you emotionally cheat you share secrets and on a deeper level with someone other than your partner. you constantly turn your thoughts to that third person. your mind has "checked out" of your relationship.you're giving your heart to someone else.You feel withdrawn, distant or disconnected from your partner -- you know when you feel that emptiness and coldness between you. you have persistent sexual fantasies about the other party even if you are not acting out on them, or you indulge those fantasies constantly while having sex with your partner, or you withdraw from sex with your partner as a result of pining for the other person. Deep emotional bonds can be much more compelling than a simple sexual attraction. But emotional affairs can lead to sexual ones if you don't set limits and or if you drop your guard and find yourself in an opportune situation.

Yeah theres such a thing....If you feel guilty about it theres such a thing... You can care about someone of the opposite sex but when it becomes thhhat kind of care to the point where you would have a doubt in your mind that theres such thing as emotional cheating..mmmayyybe you need to rethink..just a thought :)

You can emotionally cheat. It really depends on a lot of things.If he is dreaming of her and constantly thinking of her and says so then you may have a problem. If you care about someone and they are the opposite sex, so what! As long as he has you in on the friendship....are you married? or just dating? engaged ...what? It matters what your relationship is with him. People can have opposite sex friendships and it's normal. If he is keeping you out of it and you are asking to be part of the friendship, you should talk to him and find out why you are being excluded.

Yes you can emotionally cheat on someone. That can be worse than physically cheating because you give the emotional part away which is way deeper than the physical part.
