It is going to be next to impossible to leave Iraq. We've opened pandora's box. We're damned if we do and damned if we don't. The insurgency is limitless. We'll never be able to stop it because they'll keep coming and coming until we may have to start drafting. I think this war will last longer than viet nam. The Iraqi troops we are training, are cowards. As soon as we leave, they will either run and hide or join the insurgents. I strongly feel that we are wasting our soldiers lives and money for nothing. Who are our boys really fighting? What is an insurgent? What country do they belong to? They don't belong to just one country. They are...The nation of Islam and they declared a Jihad on 9/11/01. I have nothing against our president,I am a veteran of the viet nam era. Our president doesn't know what he's got us into. If we leave now, they'll come after us. If we stay, we'll be slaughtered, a few at a time until we start running out of troops. This will take time and a lot of money. Remember that these people are patient killers and they hate every single one of us. Their Qoran tells them that we are infidels and that we don't deserve to live. There's an estimated 700 million muslims in the world. Each and every one of them wants to kill us. Making peace with us is not on their agenda.

YES. We had no business there in the first place, unless you believe that we needed to have a foothold in the middle east to pre-empt the upcoming energy wars. When we engage the Chinese in Iraq we will lose because the EU will turn against us militarily. So we have to stay but we should not have been there in the first place, it was all a lie from start to finish. Our children are dying in the sand to make certain people rich here in our country.

Cut and run is not the best policy to solve Iraq's mess. We must stay, It's our obligation to help form a proper sovereign Iraqi state.
We created the problem. So what gives us the right to just run away when it suits us ?

Since the start I have lost one cousin and one was hurt both was in the seals so they was the first to so in the one that was hurt and sent to the states came back last year. He told us that there really has not been much change. So I do not think we should be over there any more, the only thing we are doing over there is getting oil and losing lives.

it's a mess... who knows what to do... I say we take everyone out... tell them that we're coming back unless they behave themselves...
then use the troops to go get Osama... then if Iraq is still screwing around, go back in...
