Getting married isn't complicated at all. At the bare minimum all you need to do is fill out the proper forms, have the required number of witnesses sign them (usually two) and have a person authorized to officiate marriages sign it then file a copy with the county clerk. I don't know about Kentucky but in Indiana the county clerk can officiate weddings so if you take a couple of friends with you going to the courthouse can be a one stop shopping kind of thing.
