NO. Dont wash face 3times a day! At most 2times a day. Otherwise you will lose the moisture in your skin!!
I would suggest you use purifying mask. Like "ORIGINS Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask". It helps to clear pores and get rid of blemishes. It is suitable for oily skin. Since u have many pimples, I suppose u have oily skin? Do use pimple gels too. Use scrub and mask once or or at most twice a week. Use scrub then facial wash then mask. Mask work best when laid on thick. and use after scrub because the mask can better penetrate since the dead skin cell and other surface impurities are removed.
Remember, no matter how oily is your skin, you need to use moisturiser. Since you have oily skin, use a moisturiser that is water-based, so that it doesn't add on to your grease. Moisturiser acts as a barrier which protect your skin against eg. the sun. Thats why the use of moisturiser is important! =)

As someone who's dealt with this, I hope I can help you. Acne is caused by bacterial infections (I think the name of the particular bacterium is "p. acnes", as well as the clogging of pores with dust and other material.
If your acne is mild, I'd recommend washing your face several times a day with a mild, unscented cleanser. You can also use a mild acne cream (usually salycilic acid or benzoyl peroxide). Avoid high fat food (sorry, no potato chips or chocolate every day), and if you do get zits, don't touch them or try to pop them, or you might wind up spreading them more.
If your acne is more severe, talk to your doctor about it at the next opportunity. I was shy about doing this, but it was good that I did, and my doctor dealt with it all the time. Usually they'll prescribe some sort of topical cream (usually clindamycin, isotretinoin, retinol or benzoyl peroxide) or a pill (usually a general antibiotic like doxycyclin). These are usually highly effective, though some can be harsh on your skin (isotretinoin can cause increased sun-sensitivity; clindamycin can dry out your skin), so be sure to keep your skin moisturized by drinking plenty of water and using an unscented, dermatologist recommended moisturizer (my doctor recommended a lotion called "Eucerin" which has been highly effective).
Regardless of whether you use over the counter or prescription remedies, keep in mind that it will take time to see results (usually a week or two).
Good luck, and don't worry; everyone deals with acne, and eventually it goes away for everyone.

I am now 23 and acne free for several years, but I had SEVERE acne 8th grade year through my junior year of high school. So bad I did not enjoy life and never wanted to go out in public. But the one thing that cured it completely and almost instanly was accutane. Accutane WILL completely clear your face. However, there are some BAD side effects that go along with accutane, the biggest being DEPRESSION. It will kick your *** psychologically. Accutane has been linked to SEVERAL suicides. It also will dry the skin on your face and you will get chapped lips.
All in all though, I think the positives largely outweighed the negatives. I GOT RID OF MY ACNE!!!!
As far as other acne medicines go....I TRIED THEM ALL....i dont think ANY of them do a BIT OF GOOD. only acutane.

Skin Care. Cleanse your face every morning and every night. After cleansing and toning, apply treatments. In the morning, be sure to use products with a high SPF. Avon has moisturizers and make-up with SPF of 15. You must do this every day and night. Forever. The good news is, your face will be beautiful.
If you would like more information, contact me through e-mail or on my website for your free Skin Care Consultation. No catch, no hassles. I just want to help.

Eat a good diet stay away from greasy food and get proactive. Keep your hands off of your face, they add dirt and oil which adds to more pimples. Good luck!! And try not to pop the ones you have it will scar when you get older and you will look like you have holes in your face.

I've been trying to use antibiotics both tablets and liquid to be put on the face for one year plus but it doesn't work I even had diarrohea and I stopped the tablet and just use the liquid. I think should drink more water to purify the body. Have some cooling chinese herbal tea would help too. Try to avoid peanuts, chocolate and crackers, heaty stuff.

Proactive is the best!! It makes your skin improve quickly, continues to work, has no strong scent (unlike most acne medications), smooths out the tiniest wrinkles, is easy to use, inexpensive, easy to order (or buy in a kiosk in the mall)..
I have nothing negative to say about it (and that is a rare thing for me! ;)
Best of luck, get it quick and see that it works.. if you're nervous about spending the money, there is a money back guarantee with all proactive products!

Try some over the counter medications. If that doesn't work I suggest you go to a dermatologist. You could also try a sun lamp. It's good for drying them up.
