What do you think of this state, do you like it or want to move. I'm from the northeast and there is never really anything to do.

I grew up in Pittsburgh....a total of 24 years.

That part of PA I loved, the people were cordial, social and business networking was simple as you can start an intelligent conversation with ease.

After graduating from Duquesne Uni, I moved to central Pennsylvania (Harrisburg area) and hated it. The people were unneccscarily arrogant, the economy was LOUSY, and there truly was nothing to do if you weren't a hunter/fisherman or some psuedo-gangsta hoodrat dealing drugs. Truthfully...if you weren't into outdoor activities (which I am, but not everyday)....there was nothing to do other than drink on the weekend, and make babies.
Central PA is horrendously overpopulated by single mothers. Nearly 70% of the women there had kids by 20.

Though, you called PA a state, it's not. It's a common"wealth", it's not a state at all. Neither is VA, KY, MA, or Puerto Rico.....and all commonwealth economies are bad. Every single one of them

They are non-progressive and stagnant, especially when it comes to business and economic growth which leads to population growth.

So, western PA I love....still do, it'll always be home.

But the commonwealth as a whole, needs an overhaul from the political end up. Everything about that place needs to be changed if they're ever going to progress beyond where they're at.....especially if they want to keep their youth staying within the area. At this time, that's not happening.

People are leaving for college, and leaving for employment. Leaving for better wages, lower taxes, less nonsense, and so forth.

Personally....I LOVE Texas in comparison. Outside of the constant immigration issues we have here, there's not a single thing I'd change.

I hate PA and cant wait to be done with school to move to Anchorage.
The government and "authoritative" aspect of the state really does suck and service as well.

I was from the southwest and I was glad to get out of PA. Now I live in Colorado and there are a lot of things to do.
