First of all it is so small. The diameter of the planet is only about the distance from Chicago to Los Angeles. Back when it was classified as a planet it was the smallest planet by far. Secondly they discovered it's moon Charon and Pluto share a center point of gravity and are actually a double planet, so they would have to add Charon as a tenth planet. They also found Xena, a kuiper belt object that is no different than Pluto really so then they'd have to add an eleventh planet. So instead of adding they subtracted. Another reason for Pluto's demotion is it's strange orbit. When it's at it's farthest from the sun, or aphelion, it is an incerdible distance away, and when it's closer perihelion--it is a much more elonagated orbit, more stretched out than any other planet. So it's unusual orbit and small size killed it. Also, the region of space it is located in is where short-term comet are and if Pluto got real close to the sun t was have a tail just like a comet. So three strikes and you're out!

It was believed that only natural sattelite can revolve around a planet. But after the discovery of a twin planet which can revolve around each other, Pluto having a moon charon can also be a twin planet having Kuiper belt origin (object). Also it has got different orbital plane as compared to rest of the planets. Hence the IAU decided to remove it from the panet category.

Too small to be one.
Keep in mind that only 260 members of the IAU voted against Pluto's status

there are many reasons.one is that Pluto came from Charon (its moon),another is that there are many tiny like celestial bodies which orbits the sun and cuts the orbit of neptune, main Pluto is disappeared.
