Remove the toner/ink catridge(s) and reinsert them - following the instruction manual. Reset the printer or switch it off and back on again.

If it still doesn't work, try inserting another catridge if available. It would be easier if you can identify your printer type (laser or inkjet), brand/model and any error code shown by the display. If the job status indicator is not showing on the printer end, then it has not received the print job from the computer, and you have to check the settings on the computer end, or the printer connection.

you need to uninstall everything and start over. you have to first install your drivers. after you install drivers you have to restart your computer. if you install your driver from a zip file from the internet you have to open it first.then do the above. but if you install from cd then you will be okay. dont plug in printer until you restart and everything has loaded. plug in then found hardware will come up . just follow its commands. that should take care of it. NOW REMEMBER THE DRIVER HAS TO BE INSTALLED FIRST.NO MATTER WHAT THEN CONNECT PRINTER AFTER RESTART.

Have you checked your device manager to see if the computer sees the printer? Its one thing to install the driver, but if the computer doesn't see the printer....it just ain't gonna print.
Or, you may have a bad USB connector/cable.

What type of printer do you have? Did you follow the directions?
