Yes, I do have some thoughts to share and I truly appreciate your question.
According to Christian tradition Jesus came to free mankind from the law. The law begins where love ends because mankind is more comfortable with rules and regulations than with love.
Love is an uncomfortable concept for most Christians. They speak of love, preach about love and insist that they love everybody, but they do not believe in love. Christians think that they 'prove' their love by following certain 'laws' and find great satisfaction in condemning those who do not follow the 'rules'.
This is, of course, completely against the teachings of Christ.
Jesus said that there was only one law and that is to love the Lord thy God with all thy soul and thy neighbor as thyself.
The irony in the statement regarding law and love is that if love is unending there is no law.

My thoughts are that it is true. When a person is past being fed up with a situation, then the law is (supposed) to be there ready and waiting.
Nothing is worse than having to give up on somebody.

"For the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. Against such things there is no law." Galatians 5:22,23

It reminds me of this
Conscience = less positive law = more freedom.
The more love the less law, the less law the more freedom.
