I am a single mom of 3 wonderfull lil girls, Ex was a jurl that needed to say, When I left him I was not involved but my best friend and now boy friend help me through many ruff times, he wiped the tears away when I was scared, and he heard me say many times never again will I marry no one will ever have that control over me, I am sure everyone in a bad marraige had said that> But him knowing what I went through I am sure he believed it, I did, He is so wonderful he treats me like a qwean and had done more for my girls then their father ever has, He knows I love him, And I can see the qwestion in his eyes I can feel him wanting to ask me expecaily when he will sit and play with my ring finger but I can also feel and see the fear that I will say no, And I know why he feels that, So how do I tell him its ok to ask me with out letting him no I know he wants to, I dont want to ruin that special moment for him either.

set him down and say something like
I'm so happy with you and our relationship. You changed my mind on how all this should be and I thank you. I have never been this happy in my life. I want to spend my life with you. You make me feel like I never thought I could. I hope that we can have more one day, I'm not scared anymore I have found my life and it is with you.
Or something to that effect its just enough to give him a hint but not enough to make him feel like you know thats what he wants. It shows that you have moved past your dark time and into the light and all you see is him.

You can go about this in a few different ways.
1. You can just get down on one knee and ask him. Make the move and blow him away. Explain to him that only he would ever want to make you marry again.
2. Tell him you were talking to someone about marriage and for the first time you are not afraid of it anymore and that some day it may be nice to share your life with someone again.

Since he knows that you have been hurt you may have to make the first move. Start talking about the future with you and him together. If you know he wants children maybe say things like I wonder what our children will look like. Just touch him at times. You can also ask him if he see the two of you becoming more permanent. Take small steps.

If he is playing with that finger then you should start playing with his and maybe he will get the hint. Another thought if you have any mutual friends that could maybe drop him a hint but I hope you are serious and will say yes if he ask.

Actions speak louder than words....some things are better left unsaid. What if you sit and talk to him about it and its not what he wants...let things be. One day at a time. If its meant to be it will be. Just show him how much you love and appreciate him. He'll come around.

Part of the scheme is that he has to get ahold of himself, to get together, to find strength to ask you!!!!
There is risk in the simple act of asking you, therefore, if you give him a little too big of a hint you are gonig to spoil that moment.
