It's even worse in the UK, which began the show before it appeared in the States. I hate that the contestants believe if they speak nicely to the person who is holding the box (or briefcase in the US) that they can some how make the monetary amount decrease before they open the box.
"Make it a low number, Lisa!" The pound amount won't change!

LOL! It's awful. Howie Mandel couldn't be more annoying. I am with the girl above, I only see it at the gym, and it's annoying even just with the captions.

I don't know how much you hate it, therefore I don't know if I hate it more, less or the same, but yeah, I hate it alright. That O'Keefe guy is irritating.
