No, but I hit my mother with open hands when I was 27 because I was sick and tired of the years of emotional and verbal badgering and haranguing she'd imposed on me and wanted to remind her that I had the physical capability to beat the crap out of her, sort of put the fear of God in her. I only hit her four times on the side of her torso, and she called the police and I was taken away on a 5150, but it was worth it because I had nothing to lose at the time and she really needed to know that I could physically thrash her if she continued to constantly harangue me verbally.
