My reasoning? I suppose because I have learned through years of hard experience that many beautiful things also come with a price, sometimes that price is pain. If we never know pain how can we truly appreciate joy and pleasure.
If a viginal woman never experiences the fleeting pain of the loss of her viginity because of fear, then hasn't she denied herself the joys that physical love may bring to her in her life? Strange analogy, but somehow it works for me.
