My problem is; the people that condemn America & the Allies for trying to rid the world of terriosts have NOT come up with an alternate plan to stop these people from killing each other or attacking the West.
If you do, can you please outline it here. Who knows you may have something that has not been thought of before.
The coalition is trying to help the people of Iraq to sort out their police & military so they can control the militants.

Do the people who oppose the war have an alternate way of doing this?

I may be uninformed, but I've never heard of anyone putting forward an alternate plan. I would welcome peace. One that doesn't force me to become religious.

Well some things should not be taken at face level.
I think what should be done is the closer monitoring of the situation. The troops should focus on nabbing terrorists rather than bombing the places or killing civilians.
However, this is harder to achieve than it sounds. If they dont keep an eye on the civilians, then spies may be sending info out to the real terrorists.
There is no real solution here

Bin Laden said the 9/11 attacks on the US were retaliation for for leaving US troops in Saudi Arabia following the Gulf War. Recall that the first World Trade Center bombing, the USS Cole bombing and the 9/11 attacks all occurred after the Gulf War while US troops were in Saudi Arabia. It is also interesting that there have been no more attacks on the US since US troops were removed from Saudi Arabia to invade Iraq.

Al Qaeda attacked the US because our covert and overt military actions in the middle east were disrupting their efforts to live according to their religious beliefs. They would have no reason to attack the US if we left them alone.

Consider gradually easing the role of peacekeeping into the hands of the UN if possible? Though you don't have to be too well-informed (I'm not) to see that it seems unlikely at this time.
