I know it is possible but how??

if it won't take a charge or won't hold a carge replace it

I am not sure it is possible.The dry type batteries are usually a paste mixture, over time the chemicals dry out and no longer work. You might try shorting out the dead battery. Use a 12 volt light bulb to see if there is any life at all. Completely drain it and the charge it again.

they usually need replacement if they go bad. If you can't find a replacement you may be able to replace the barreries inside if you can get it appart. they are usually a conbinarion of Nicad C or D of AA wired together with solder.

It is tricky to try to refresh the battery and need a special circuit to force a controled overload thart sometimes helps but verry dangerous and can explode .
