I had the same thing happen to me and I used goo be gone or un-do it worked great. You can get it at Home Depot, I think just about any store carries it, Wal-Mart. The un-do comes with a little plastic scraper and all you do is just squeeze the bottle and scoop up the gum. Then wipe with a paper towel. I hope this helped.

There are two methods you can try. These methods work on hard surfaces as well as cloth and carpeting. (always test for color fastness on soft and cloth surfaceses in an area that does not show.)

#1 pour a small amount of Lighter Fluid (the type you use to fill refillable lighters with) on a clean white cotton cloth (do not pour directly on gum). Place the cloth on the gum to soften it . Once softened you can rub and remove it . Repeat until all is dissolved and removed.

#2 Place ice cubes over the gum to harden and freeze it. Once hard you should be able to scrape it off, repeat if necessary until all is gone.

Good luck!

Heat the dryer, this will soften gum. Remove some of the gum by scraping, once you have a small quantity roll it into a ball and dab it on the other gum. Keep doing this and as your gum ball gets larger it will become more efficient. Good luck

It really helps to run your dryer and heat the gum up first, then use goo gone or some other cleaner to wipe it off. As long as it's hot, it will move. You will have to use a little elbow grease but it's possible.
Good luck.

Put your favorite "can't live without it" piece of clothing in to dry. I'm sure it will collect all the gum.
