I use girlfriends only for sex and i just can't emotionally get attached to the girls that i date. can they sense it though?

The thing with a situation like this is that if both people involved are on the same page, is there really anything wrong with it? I don't think so. The key is be up front with the girl.
The other thing to keep in mind is whether your behavior is bothering you. If your behavior is bothering you, then maybe it is an issue. I don't think there is anything wrong with you per say though. Don't be so hard on yourself and give yourself time to live and grow. Take a deep breathe and remember that we never know who we are going to meet tomorrow, it could be the girl that you feel emotions for.

Do you have feelings for anyone? Or are you just keeping yourself distance so you don't get hurt emotionally, in case they break up with you??? If you don't have feelings for anyone, your parents, brothers, sisters etc, then I think you need to talk with a professional to see if you have a personality disorder. I'm thinking it's probably not that though and that you just haven't found the right person to care about yet --- and as far as the girls sensing it... it depends on how good of an actor you are but eventually they'll figure it out.
Why don't you try just dating someone and hold off on sex until you find that you care about that person. Also, don't forget to use protection!

Have you ever tried abstaining from sex until you have feelings for a girl. Sometimes when you have sex right away it ruins the feelings you could have had.

yes most women can tell that they are only being used....but hay how do you know your not being used in turn?
you have commitment issues....talk to a counsellor...they can help you figure out why and help you move past it.
