There is a wrong notion amongst people that roses are red. Off Course, the Red Coloured Roses are there and most preferred but there are other variants of Roses also like white, Pink, Yellow and yes BLACK. The Black Rose is so beautiful.

Currently there are no real black roses. Attempts are being made to cross-breed the darkest red roses available in an effort to create a marketable black rose, but so far they are not there yet. Some very dark red roses may be called black. There are many of these and some of them have the word 'black' in their name (i.e. Black Prince, Black Ice, Black Jade). However, they are not truly black.
You can however find fresh roses that are dried and then dyed black.

There isn't any black rose, yet, however, there are dark red roses, one is dark burgundy, almost black on the outside called "Black Magic", the other one is Black Baccarra (spelling?). Both are hybrid tea roses that florists use when black roses are custom ordered. If these are not available, florists either dip the roses in black dye, or use spray paint.

I just visited Google's site of images and saw the image of a so - called black rose .
But i think it's actually a dark red/maroon rose which kinda looks black. I know of a dark purple rose though that looks black .- more so after it is whithered.

No there is no true " black" rose. Some appear very dark, but they are not truly black. Even a dried up Rose will retain some of it's color.

the only black rose was made by putting a white rose stalk into
Indian ink and letting the flower petals soak up the ink which makes it go black.. apart from that their is no true black rose

Yes, there is at least one variety, probably more, of black roses. Cant remember what the name is, but I've seen them in catalogs.
