She used to be in a group Wild Orchid and even then (maybe 10 or more years ago) I thought she was fake. They tried to act all sensuous (sp?) and sexy and it was retarded and then she comes back with the Black Eyed Peas and now solo and tries to act completely different. I just think its silly and fake but I guess you have to go with what makes money, huh.

I just watched her on Letterman thats what made me get on here. She wasnt as bad as usual but she had her ghetto sidekicks with her acting hard, lol.

Honestly..I hate ALL celebrities. They get paid millions of dollars to wave to a crowd of fans in Japan or something..and spend it on like, a diamond encrusted keyboard or a new gucci purse or whatever sh.it like that..while REAL heros are out there..doctors, firefighters, cops. Saving actual lives and contributing to the society, unlike say Fergie or Paris Hilton. What do they get paid? Not even like half a quarter of what the celebs are raking in. Its just awful. And I agree, I dont like Fergie and I think she is fake also!

Black eye peas was going nowhere and was about to disband until they brought Fergie in. If it wasn't for her, no more peas. Btw what is the deal with the two other guys in the group. They don't do much. The getto thing is in. You know how life is in the ghettos of the suburbs.

I think she tends to act more.. Er.. "ghetto" now because she IS in the Black Eyed Peas.. Which make music of the rap or r&b persuasion.. And feels that since she is in that 'group' if you want to call it that, made of mainly black people that it gives the right for her to act more black (and yes she does try and act black)... Just like white people in general that I know of that hang with black people, their tone and what not completely changes..

Honey, that's what happens when people want to get there talent out. Actors, singers do it. And how would you know what is Fergie's style? Do you know her? Gwen Stafani is similar as well she mixes her style and has a Ghetto style. And it's in right now so get use to it. Every person who wants to get thier talent out there especially performers would eventually want a solo career wouldn't you? And the whole situation with her peeing in her pants just makes her more human. We have all been in that situation. So stop bitching and hating. Get over yourself.

I didn't really care for her; even in the Black Eyed Peas. But, the whole peeing herself thing, it just made me dislike her even more. I mean, the woman is just too old for that.

Holla to Couture Princess's answer a few above this one: I agree. People I know that have been long-time meth users at any point in their lives (and I know about 6, 4 of them are ones I know very well) are all a bit of a deviation from the norm. I'm not saying all of you out there that have put it in your past too or are working on it or whatever are wackos, but the ones I know have shocked me plenty of times over to the point where I try to avoid going out with them because I always end up in a round of confused banter (that equals BIG FREAKING HEADACHE by the time we're leaving..)
Appearance wise, a lot of them lost their sense of "self-upkeep".. I mean, even in a general sense. The women let their roots go, wore WAY WAY WAY too over-the-top outfits sometimes (enter: Fergie! Ha!), or wore the same outfit nights in a row and didn't realize, guy friends of mine cutting their own hair too short because they thought they knew what they were doing...... etc. You get the idea.
Meth is a drug that apparently makes you feel like God, like you are so kind and outgoing yet so deserving of all the attention in the WHOLE DAMN PLACE as you run your mouth and your body at 400 x's its normal speed. Sounds bad but apparently it feels good.. so maybe its what brings fake/insecure people out of their shells and allows them to open up and be more fun when with others? To be more "real"? Sorry but they need to realize that "real" them is the "real" them multiplied by about 400 while everyone is back down at normal speed noticing that something is very very STRANGE. "Someone drank a lot of coffee today!" or whatever, haha.
Anyway maybe thats what Fergie needed.. maybe it gave her that extra push to be the ballsy, ENERGETIC, totally confident rapper ***** (good *****, not bad!). That's why a lot of people get drug problems to begin with. She/They (other recovered or recovering addicts) may have had a deeper rooted problem that would eventually manifest itself in the form of a drug problem. Whatever it was that happened sometime in the past may have engrained something in their mind that led them to find validation in destructive behaviors.
It happens. Yes she is human, but yes, I am also getting sick of her.... She can't be freakin' Madonna by "reinventing herself" all the time. PLEASE. At least Madonna remained the same character -wise. Fergie's all over the place with that one and its aggrivating. I couldn't imagine being friends with her in real life... one day she's like this, the next she's like that, etc....

I went to school with Fergie from 7th grade until 12th grade
and honestly she was never like she is now. she was a cheerleader popular sweet girl she was always in the smart kids classes we werent friends but to me it seemed like she would never never never do drugs she was too smart for that
but who knows people change not always for the better
but i guess it must be really nice to be really rich?
i dont think she has had any plastic surgery
