Except for patrols, they’re mostly in the green zone.

Mostly, now they are just trying to stay alive. They have no other goals. Iraq is lost and our troops are primarily in defensive posture,

Officers live like Kings, but otherwise it’s dismal. They get only a few liters of water a day (then there was the recent news item that they got contaminated water from the military’s contracted supplier).

Guard units get the worst equipment (sometimes providing their own), worst quarters, and worst and most dangerous jobs (they are the ones to go through the doors first with substandard equipment while the ‘regulars’ wait outside.

There was never an upside for America (even if Saddam would have had WMDs, this would not have accomplished anything).

Two weeks before we invaded, an NBC reporter in Saudi Arabia asked Prince Bandar about their defensive position on the border SA shares with Iraq. Bandar said the might send someone out in a jeep every week or so. The reporter then asked what permanent posts and installations were along the border.

Bandar answered, ‘none’

The incredulous reporter asked, ‘how can you not have anyone out there at least to watch if something happens:

Bandar actually laughed as he gave this answer, ‘why would we do that? He [saddam] can’t do anything to us. He’s not going anywhere.

A interview with the Kuwaiti Defense Minister produced the same response.

Everyone in the world, except those who believed Bush and Blair knew that Hussein was not a threat to anyone.

It was a complete and total lie. The greatest damage comes not from Bush lying to the American people (it’s our fault for electing him, and we deserve what we get – at least those that elected him and support him deserve whatever is in store for them), it comes from the fact that we did, indeed, illegally and immorally invade a country that posed no threat to anyone (who sounds more like Hitler in this story: the illegal aggressor (Bush) or the mean dictator (but stuck in Baghdad forever – Hussein).

It does not matter that Bush and his criminal government will avoid prosecution. The damage is that the whole world knows it’s true and America no longer has any moral leverage over even the lowest scum. In the eyes of the world (and God also, if there is one) we are the bad guys this time.

We are also the losers. Bush has lost not only the war in Iraq, he may already have lost the war on terror. We are certainly losing on every and all fronts.

Bush is the puppet. The evil that will destroy America is Christianity. It already re-writes our history:

Here are the official, 1797 congressionally approved exact words of our Founding Fathers:

“As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion”
http://www.yale.edu/lawweb/avalon/diplomacy/barbary/bar1796t.htm

Contrary to the traitorous right-wing in this country: the Founding Fathers DID NOT SAY that stupid white-trash Christians get to make the rules and ruin the country.

In fact, our Founding fathers were, immediately, afraid of two things:

1.organized religion (Christianity especially). There is no mention – not a single time – not one word – not one reference in the US Constitution to God, or Jesus or Christianity. They knew that when religions get political power they ALWAYS rape-torture-kill as their first and primary order of business.

A note: the constitution is the official document of the land establishing our government and laying out the blue print for our country.

The Declaration of Independence does not establish or form anything. I mention this only because Christians lie so much that it has to be headed off at the pass.

Even though the spiritual references in the Declaration of Independence are not about Christianity or Christian BS at all, lying scum Christians always jump up and down screaming because they need a way into our government so they can destroy it. Why do you think they are so eager for all of us to give up our rights as Americans.

Separation of church and state was to protect both, but certainly mostly to protect the state because they knew (and in their private letters to each other, make it clear) that Christianity in particular and organized religion in general were evil forces on mankind.

Secondly, there feared a national standing military. They dealt with this by putting it fully under secular civilian control.

Finally, the thing they thought would eventually bring down the government: stupid voters.

They were afraid that liars and crooks could easily trick an ill-educated voting public – that the voters would eventually elect leaders even stupider and more corrupt than themselves – (this began with Reagan and now the great destroyer of America Bush) and destroy the country.

White-trash ignorant Christians have done what neither the British, a civil war, or Hitler could do – destroy the United States.

they are doing issues that are no longer stated. they are helping in re-development faculties, hospitals, potential and water plant life and different infrastructure. besides, if troops are working there'll be added try against troops on the floor to furnish rigidity protection. And no, no longer all the troops are on patrol 24 hours an afternoon. they could desire to sleep, consume, have time to wind down and do maintenance on their weapons and kit. upload as perplexing because it may desire to be for some to believe, whilst achieveable a number of them get to bypass on bypass away or R&R.

I hope they're all out there teaching Iraqis to hunt down bad guys. But, good question, it's not like they're renting out suites at the Bagdad Hilton.

Most of them are not in palaces. We were mainly in tents, and old bombed buildings.
