This is American manned missions to the end of Apollo, when the last two men walked on the moon.

You left out all of the skylab, space shuttle, etc. missions since Apollo 17...:)

I suspect you won't get much of an answer to this, since the moon landing fakery folks don't have a leg to stand on. They happened.

Seeing that list gives the shivers. Apollo 17 came home just over 11 years after Al Shepard went up. And Tranquility Base made its first transmission just over *eight years* after that first Mercury-Redstone.

Just this morning I endured a long rant by a hysterical physicist who claimed the human race wouldn't settle the solar system until our great-grandchildren's generation.

Yes, a *physicist,* and one who claims to have worked on space flight hardware, and I've no reason to think he lies about that. All rah-rah about sending out unmanned space probes, but put men on the moon? Pointless! Dangerous!

My rabid rocket-scientist correspondent isn't a moon-landing denier; he just categorically rejects that any good came of it, or of any manned space flight effort, without exception.

There is something about Apollo that really brings out the bitterness of some folks. Even ones too bright to overlook the incongruities of the hoax "theory" seem to share a kind of mean nitpicking spirit with those who believe it was all done in a quarry.

Actually I think Hollywood got involved with both the Russians AND NASA before this time-line. I believe the conspiracies started before April 12, 1961, when Yuri Gagarin claimed to have gone into space. Frankly, I don't think ANYONE has been to space much-less the moon. I think they'd die if they left the Earth's atmosphere.

You got to give them credit though...they have some really active imaginations.

It makes me wonder what they lie about, or fake, in their lives.

You know what I mean?
