Know that it is a chemical situation in your brain and if it continues for a long period of time (longer than a couple of weeks) see your doctor.
It is normal to be disappointed and depressed at times because of life situations, but if it persists, you can be happy again.
Counseling along with anti-depressants work wonders! Even if you have taken them in the past or are taking them now, sometimes changing them helps since they sometimes lose their ability to work after use.
Cymbalta is a new one and I hear it is marvelous!
Please, see your doctor and know that there are people out there that care about you!

Choose disappointment it's healthier.
Depression is a false god. It will make you an unwitting slave. This why the 1st commandment is an injunction and consequently a protection against false gods.
Who is the biggest you or this depression? Whom is the big money on? Where are you going to place you bet? Who was here first, you or the depression?
You is the answer you gave, I bet that you have what is necessary to overcome the depression. Work on you feeling better. There are a million and one things in this world that you can have, and a million and one that you cannot. Of the million and one that you can have, some of those you do not want. Depression is one of these.
Free your mind, the rest will follow.

look bro..take it like that way being depress never solve anything i been depress for about more than 7 yrs and still the problem wasnt solved..and why being disappointed??? try again and again and you will succeed..if you gonna sit back and gonna get depressed and dissapointed your increasing problems instead of decreasing them you must not get disappointed and depressed you gotta use the time wisely and life is big itsure have some ups and downs that doesnt mean you can give up..whenever you feel depress take a deep breath and divert your mind to any other thing..get involved in activities and play games that will help you to end your depression..and always remember getting depressed and getting disappointed is never a solution of anything...

you are in the same boat as i am...what i am doing is taking thaings slowly, hanging out with my new and old friends and working out as well as figuring out what makes me depressed and disappointed: here is my advice....take a notepad and write down for a couple of days-7-how everything is going, what makes you mad, why you are disappointed each day, and so forth each day. at the end of the 7 days look and see if you can see a pattern: is it school, work, a loved one or yourself that are actually making yourself depressed? when you figure out that then see what you can do such as making changes in your life.
as for being disappointed, dont be. why should you be disappointed about? i am learning that hey, i am human and no one is perfect and that putting too much stress can ruin your life. just be happy knowing that you did the best you could each and every single day...that is all that matters:doing the best that you could. just know that there is so much out thereso much life, happiness, love and all you have to do is to let go of what makes you disappointed-for me it is myself: i compare myself with everyone and become and overachiever with school in mind 24/7 and no fun. live in the presesnt!

Focus on what makes you happy. If you feel like you need to be sad first than just be sad. But otherwise, you can choose to be happy when you feel you are ready.

Call to your parents if they are alive and let them know. If you do not want to talk to them or you just cannot do it, try to talk to a friend. Avoid going to a bar and please do not meet any strangers tonight.

hmmm - start with yourself - no matter what external things are bothering you, be it a person, or a group of ppl, or the world, or the government .. start with you .. talk to yourself, ask yourself what is "wrong" and what you think you can do about it~
