I was in Caracas last month. All of the slums are still there. All of them. Nationalizing PEDEVEZA has only benefited him and his Junta. Not one single poor person has improved his/her life. Sickos.

No, it is not clear. What is clear is that you are a nut job. That you feel compelled to call Bush the devil, and I don't see anything from your questions and answers calling Kim Jung Ill, El-the-nut-a-job, Jugo, Castro, Mugabi, etc, something worse

Hi!
Well... amazingly the answer to your question seems to be "Yes".
Tsk, tsk, tsk.
Considering that, it would be a good thing that 80% of the Venezuelan population does not own a computer. And that should say a lot.
It does say a lot.
I don't expect most of the people answering this particular question to understand that. Go to the mall!
The French made a revolution. Venezuela is now just a sad shadow of what still could be a great country if leaders and people would just SHUT UP and get to work. *sight*
And just to get it straight, no actual "president" is elected by a 60% of voter's abstinence.
Goodluck!

Chavez gave $1,000,000 to Al Qaeda right after 9-11. He has vowed to destroy America. He has lost support from the Venezuelans and could never win another elections. He has just past laws in his country making it a crime to speak out against the leader, for what he did at the U.N. today. He is robbing his people of their oil and giving the money away to other countries trying to gain political favor.
Camille M, it's called a "google bomb", look it up.
corwynwulfhund, your statistics are completely made up. The average IQ of Bush voters was the same as the average IQ of Kerry voters. As far as the average Texas IQ goes, illegal immigrants can't vote but they can drive the IQ below average. Based on military records and school records, Bush's IQ was calculated to be higher than Kerry's.

Chavez may now be pretending to be elected but he TOOK power in 1992 during a coup. My computer & my newspapers work great. He keeps his people in line & does help the poor to keep his power base, of course he is a "vicious Robin Hood" he kills & steals from rich & trickles it down to the poor - well some of it.
He comes to our great country insults the president & all Americans including his great defenders on here - you know the lazy, greedy, overusing oil people & you defend him. Turn in your cars tommorrow. I expect only Republicans to be driving by Monday. Put your feet to work to cover those big statements from your big mouths. I will wave as I go by!
If you only learn fom Internet search & take the first few that come up, you will indeed grow up to be a stupid person. Liberals & private opinions are who write the web pages. Even the Democrats have come out with how shameful Chavez words & behavior has been. The middle gets further away for Chavez supporters. Keep reading & watch history!

Well last year I spent a month down in Venezuela and you should see the progress that has been made for the poor people of the country...more schools and hospitals all paid with oil profits. The people have a sense of hope and pride that the poor people of our country could not attest to. In that respect Chavez has used his political power for all the people...he has even provided cheap oil this past winter for Americans that use heating oil so they are not burdened by high oil prices. Bush did nothing to influence his oil buddies (who posted record earnings this past year) to help Americans. So now who feels like a moron? (need a mirror?)

Boy all the robots are spouting the Hate Chavez line, its amazing how gullible and receptive and easily led all you robots are. Did you know Bush tried to overthrow him? Did you know Chavez was freely elected by his country? Did you know democracy, that Bush claims to care so much about, means you accept a win by someone even if you don't like them? So you guys are saying democracy is great if foreign countries only elect people Bush likes. Wow, is that a system worth dying for?

The dumbest people in America voted for Bush. The most intelligent people in America voted for both Gore and Kerry.
Texas had the highest percetage of Bush voters in 2000 and 2004. Average IQ in Texas...83...just three points above mentally retarded.
New Hampshire had the highest percentage of Gore/Kerry voters both times. Average IQ in New Hampshire...114...considered highly intelligent.
Does this answer your question?
Chavez was elected by 78% in an internationally observed, clean election.
