Check her tongue. If it is inside of another woman, she's a lesbien.

A lesbian is a woman whose primary sexual attraction is to other women. Some women are bisexual and can be attracted to men or women and other are heterosexual and only attracted to the opposite sex.
If this is a real friend, you should be able to just ask. Unless you are also a lesbian and interested in your friend in a more intimate way, what difference is it if she os gay or not? If you like a person, their sexual orientation shouldn't matter.

sometimes u can just tell and besides if u care about them does it really matter i know that lesbians are some of the best friends that you can find
