why do kids have to be so dang cruel? most arent, but some are.?

I know what you mean. Kids these days are so cruel, to not only each other, but everyone around them. I will never understand why they do it. All I know is that it can really hurt someone, either physically, mentally, or both. I read an article about a boy who hung himself because other kids were so mean to him.

Interesting that you bring this up. I was at my son's football game this week and while I was sitting on the bleachers I was listening to a group of 14 and 15 year olds talking. This was mostly girls but a couple of boys, also. They started talking about a new girl, calling her a b*tch. However, none of them actually talked about what made her a b*tch to them. All they did was make fun of her acne. Evidently, acne = b*tch to them.

The ironic thing is, they seem mighty concerned with surface looks, but several of those girls come from mother's that look like they've been "ridden hard and put away wet" OFTEN, if you know what I mean. Those girls in 20 years are going to hope that people look deeper than just surface looks, cause genetics is probably going to deal them a nasty blow.

Are their parents that shallow at home? I have no clue. But its very disturbing to hear what teenagers talk about. I hope my kids dont behave like that, but Im sure sometimes they do. Yes, kids are kids, but manners are manners.

Generally, kids grow out of that kind of behavior. Or at least, they learn to hide it better as they grow up...or become too busy with other aspects of life.

because their parents are cruel.

One time at the park my son was having a transitional melt down ( he has mild autism ) this lady and her friends were giving us that " control your brat ? look. I finally got him calmed down and went over to the bench to rest with my younger child. So all of a sudden this womans kid throws sand all over my son and my son is just like whatever and ignores him and the kid is like screaming at my son in his face and my son is just smiling,lol ( he has no idea socially this kid is a lunatic )

I calmly walked over there and asked the little boy to stop yelling at my son. of course the mother ( one of the ones giving dirty looks before ) comes over and shes giving attitude, shes like well at least my kids not a monster and has melt downs.

Im like well thats where you are wrong, YOU and your son are the monsters. what kind of kid yells in the face of another child, especially one thats 3 yrs older than my child. My son has autism,he's not throwing a tantrum cause he cant have his way.

Then I politely asked her whats your excuse for being a lame *** mother who lets her kid yell at another?

well the mother dragged her demon child off and left. The other lady was still there, she heard the whole thing and aplogized and said she didnt know. I said it's hard to tell, but people shouldnt automatically judge when they can't even see what they are doing to their own kids

mean kids are the way they are because they are insecure and afraid and feel inferior to others. They treat other kids bad because they are afraid someone will find out what their fears are and make fun of them. They are just small people who's hearts live in a very scary dark place.

they do things that are so cruel because someone influced them to beleive that is cool and the only way to be in life and other get it from thinking that the only way to not get hurt is to be mean due to them being hurt alot it is a stage that most will evanually grow out of but not all will

It is usually because they have been targeted in some way themselves. 99% of them are cowards. Just ask them why they are doing it? Tell them that just because daddy belts them around it doesn't mean they need to do it to other people. Then call the police, 000

every adult ask the same thing..there are so many factor that turned them into one..one of it was environment..parents..movies..friends..and a lot more..they are like sponge..they absorb everything~
