Well the episode where Squidward transformed a brilliant artist (Spongebob) into a hack like himself, bothered me. It really mirrored reality. Someone who is inferior mocks the superior until the superior regresses. It's tragic, really.

I don't like Sponge Bob Squarepants simply because he's ugly.
I think it's pretty tragic to be disliked because you're ugly.
Poor Sponge Bob.

I find this tragic.
BEFORE:

AFTER:

Quite clearly, Spongebob is the aftermath of the collision between Bart and a large steamroller, which (although Bart can be annoying) is both solemn and tragic.
I hate to think what happened to his skateboard in the crush.

I think he is wonderful but I hate the fact that he became this big DEAL (too mainstream) and well I like some of the hidden jokes. He is not mainly for children but for an older audience .

That he talks underwater with no distortion. I mean his voice should be all weird, but he sounds the same on dry land as he does underwater.

that he always tries so hard and every disappointment he feels like it's his first disappointment ever instead of just being used to it. it's depressing.
