Oh maybe we should boycot Citgo because of that Chavez character. That's kind of distracting from the real issue which is the Arabs making lots of money and possibly funding terrorists enought to get a nuke and end the world.

Citgo is Venezuelan owned, therefore buying gas from citgo helps chavez, while 2/3 of Exxon oil refined into gas is pumped from various US sources. While I know that the libs think all profit is evil, and Exxon is the king of all that is evil, I'm buying from Exxon/Mobile.

Citgo is wholly owned by Venezuela. If you are a fan of Chavez and his anti-American rhetoric that is the one for you. Around here there are no Citgo stations so that is easy for me to day.

No, b/c they're too expensive, compared to ARCO and Valero... Boycotting the company only puts the station owner in the doghouse. Most service stations are privately owned, and the only person to be hurt would be the local business owner, which in turn hurts the local economy.

I don't buy from them or shell, I buy from the smallest companies I can find.In the 80's shell was boycotted (for a little while) for supporting oppression in south africa. That was during another Bush administration.
