Yes. I think just about everyone has. The Bible says the tongue is like a two edged sword.
Mad or not the saying goes; "Engage the brain before you open your mouth."
When you see him again you can say; "I was really having a bad day yesterday (or the other day); and I said things to people in a not so friendly way. I sure hope they can forgive me. John (or whatever his name is) would you please forgive my bad (or rude) behavior from the other day?"

Just call him back and apologize to him. Tell him you were having a bad day and that you didn't mean to be rude to him.

yeah. but you cant. you never have a second chance to make a first impression. the best thing you can do is go up to him and tell him you are sorry and ask him to forgive you but you were upset at the time hopefully he will understand
