I think about $400, but they have free health for unemployed people. It's not welfare..it's called adult CHIP'S . Go to your state health dept's website..it should have info there.

I get Blue Cross/Blue shield Major Medical. Its 50 dollars a month. This is what it covers: 70% of Hospital expenses both inpatient/out patient and I pay the remaining 30%. Doctor visits when hospitalized i think are covered 100 %.
No prescription coverage or docor visits are covered. If you are going to go that route, it may be in your best interest to seek a prescription discount program through a "for profit" company. You can find them online. Also, you can get free quotes from insurance companies online if you are looking for better coverage. You can find pretty decent coverage at a decent price (like 90-120 a month) if you are in good health, and don't visit a doctor very often. good luck and I hope this helps you!

There are alot of different indicators. Do you have any previous health issues, how old are you? what is your current health situation, and most importantly, where do you live? Each state is different. My advice? Go to the blue cross/blue shield, or humana website, lookup your state, you can spend about 45 minutes and get a pretty accurate quote. Also, your health coverage expenses will be tax deductible. It also will vary incredibly depending on the type of coverage you desire.
