Does anyone really think a wall of any size will help with illegal immigration? You build a wall, or a fence, they are going to cut it, put a hole in it, or just build a bigger ladder!

Walls, as defenses, worked 500 years ago. It's the 21st century now.

Do you actually believe a big fence across Mexico..will work?

It's totally ridiculous, but what's not funny is that we,
the taxpayers will probably pay for it.
And you know how bushes construction companies will charge,
$50 a nail, $700 a hammer & only heaven only knows what
they will get away with, with the building materials!

Walls don't work. Ever since the Big Wall of China, The Berlin Wall, the Israel wall. If you do that maybe you need a big wall across the Canadian border as well? And the Cubans entering by sea? A big sea wall? Maybe fortify America to the point of stupidity and then ask gently why school system fails for lack of funds? And for the P.S. Helping Mexico improve is the only way to stop illegal immigration. If the people want to leave, they will. If they want to stay because life is acceptable there they won't risk life to become illegal in a foreign country.

Never forget how poorly the Berlin wall worked...which had three parts, dogs, were constantly patrolled, had electronic surveillance, etc. Lots of people got past it every year...thousands!

The answer to illegal immigration is simple. Make it a federal crime punishable by 20+ years in prison for every executive, hiring manager, and all human resources personnel of any company that hires an illegal immigrant. Add to this random inspections (where inspectors don't even know where they are going...only having directions and an address right before they leave to do the inspection). After the fisrt couple of convictions, no company would ever try it again! Get rid of the demand, you get rid of the supply. Simple.

No, a 50 ft. blast-proof, barb-wired, concrete wall, along with sniper-post, a big moat with alligators and sharks, yesss sharks, a mind field, ground drones, Military syhper drones, the damn National Guard and giant robots, yessss robots. Yep, that should do the trick, it's the 21st century now, right.

Oh yeah, I forgot about tanks and attack helicopters. We are looking at the largest invasion in the history of the West, why not?

Also, I forgot attack dogs, surveillance cameras, a reinforced wall that is a lot bigger, come on it's possible right? We humans built the pyramids and the great wall of China.

Motion sensors, satellite surveillance, the Navy SEALs.......

a electrified fence in between the bigger walls, and also for the brave and AMAZING souls who somehow manage to sneak through "MY INSANE WALL", throw them in one of 10 of the a giant, 50 story, prisons that will be built along the border. INVASION PEOPLE!

THE FUNDING OF THE INSANE WALL IS TOP SECRET.

it seems pretty simple to me, if they would take the money paid for guards and fences, put it in Mexico building factories where they could make as much their as they do here, you would fine that they would all or most would go back to their homeland.
i don't think that America per say is what there looking for but a way to feed their families and have a future. in return we could get a percentage, and instead of spending now we are making money, they go back home and a a means of living.

What a great question. No, I don't think a fence across Mexico will work. What a mess. Why can't they just come over and work with a permit then go home? I sure as hell wouldn't want to do some of the work that they do.

If you take a look at the blueprints of the wall, it is very difficult to climb over it, even with a ladder. But you do have a point. If there is a will there is a way.

Worked for Germany for awhile didn't it and they only had brick and guards. This fence will not only be tall but include:

-A ditch
-Coils of barbed wire
-Two tall, sturdy wire fences, with sensors to warn of any incursion.
-A patrol path for vehicles between the fences
-A smoothed strip of sand that runs parallel to the fence, to detect footprints.
-Closed circuit TV cameras and motion detectors

It's to be modeled after the Israeli West Bank security fence and they know how to build a fence.

Who says the US is building a wall along the borders with Mexico?

Electrify the blasted fence, put sensors along it so that any break in current will show up and they can then go to find out what it was. This way they will have to start driving cars through it or diggin under it.
