There is a product call an Aircast. This product has two plastic stabilizers with a blow up insert for better fitting. It goes on both sides of you ankle but isn't so bulky that you can't wear shoes.
Also, there are several other products like wraps, stirrups, and slip on neoprene sleeves. Check your local medical supplier.

Let your ankle heal completely before doing any more stunts! The better they heal between injuries, the better it will heal the next time you injure it.
Balance exercises, general exercise, and stretching will help. Also, I find it useful to sit and rotate my ankles under my desk at work. Keeping them loose and mobile will help strengthen the muscles and keep them from getting hurt again.

you need to improve your balance, or proprioception. this increases the muscle activity around your ankle, making it less dependant on the sprained ligaments. easy peasy stuff...stand on your affected ankle, try to make a small arch and balance on that foot, don't let your knee roll in. to make it harder don't look at your foot, catch a ball, wave your arms around or close your eyes. make it more specific to skating by jumping and landing, with control on your ankle. aircast boots are good for stability, and very severly sprained ankles, but, you still have to get the muscle control when you are out of the boot...
