"Crawling in Dark" & "Same Direction"...Hoobastank??

Do these songs have a religious undertone to them?? Listening again them I find myself identifing with them on a spiritual plain....but I am not sire if this was the intent of the song. For the most part thier entire album has these type of Motif's...just a question and random thought??

I think you are correct. I can't quite put my finger on it. There does seem to be a lot of spirituality emerging in popular music, and I personally have seen this come out in previous generations when the people have anxieties about an uncertain future.

It sure seems like it.
