If you would get past the Bush thing you would realize that oil is a commodity like anything else and is controlled by the stock market. Becouse it is, the President really doesn't have the authority to mess with it cause if a President was able it would be against the countries best interest. So blame a lot of the high prices and usage on the average person who owns all those big pickups and other gas guzzling vehicles. Car pool and drive smartly. It's so easy to blame the President but if you don't change it doen't matter what he does.

The incompetent Bush represents the cronied friends of his at the oil companies. Why? It's because he started an illegal war in Iraq just to get his hands on the country's black gold for his oil exec buddies, at the expense of almost 3,000 dead soldiers! Now they have in their hands the dead soldiers' blood! They were also responsible for crafting the President's questionable and ill-fated environmental policies. Bush, shortly after taking office, refused to go along with the Kyoto Treaty which calls for significant cuts in greenhouse gases. Baloney! And as for the issue of high gas prices, you guessed it...the President's cronied friends of the oil companies! They are getting rich while we're stuck holding the bag paying for RIDICULOUSLY HIGH gas prices! Do you understand me now?

Without those evil Oil companies you would be walking everywhere you went. In fact, all you who believe that Bush is just for big Oil, Park your SUV's and ride bicycles or walk! That will teach him! Or tell your Demwittedcrats to quit blocking the drilling for oil and this Country will be free of imported Oil

The oil companies are raking in the money, and we have to buy oil because they don't put out vehicles that don't use gas.

No doubt: Oil companies. But he's only looking out for Americans best interests. How did YOU get around today? Did you ride your bike? Did you walk to work? Face it, we all are slaves to the oil industries. Unless you walk or ride your bike, or buy bio-diesel or any other alternatives fuels, YOU are part of the problem.
