hi gita...so u also have oily skin ...and i know how much hard its to tackle with oily skin...but trust me oily skin is best in winter season becos there is less chances of it cracking and getting drier like normal skin or dry skin. So how to tackle issues like pimples, black heads and too much oilyness of the skin....best way is to wash ur face with warm and cold water repeatedly whiich will clean up the dust which it picks up outside and also applying some cleansers which will open pores and clean up the skin. You can also apply some cucumber paste or some sandal powders or multani mitti to absorb all the extra oil and also keep a tissue always with u to wipe when u feel its more oily...so if u keep it clean and healthy u will not face any issues of oily skin and u love the way u look.
Drink lots of water (about 2 liitres - 8 glasses a day)
Eat fruits and green vegetables to keep ur blood clean which makes ur skin look gud.

A dermatologist told me that your skin gets oily because it's not getting the proper amount of moisture, so your glands try to compensate by producing sebum (oil) which just causes acne, etc., so you need to moisturize. First, use Cetapil cleanser. It's really mild, comes in pump form and a bar (like soap). Then I recommend using Olay oily / combination moisturizing cream. I know, the last thing you'd want to put on your face when it feels greasy is a moisturizer, but it's really true what the dermatologist said. I have oily skin and I noticed a difference once i started moisturizing. And, you have to faithfully clean your face every morning and every night & use the cream every day. If you have bad acne, or the kind that are red bumps under your skin, see a dermatologist. They'll give you retin-A crean - use on affected areas every other night and the bumps will disappear forever. If you're in your late 20's, early 30's, olay has a great anti-blemish cleanser too. I had really bad skin, but these things cleared it up very quickly. (And I tried everything else first!) Good luck.

Use Cetaphil. Don't wash your face too often as it will produce more oil to make up the difference from you washing it off. If you have hair in your face then either keep it really clean or get it out of your face. You'd be surprised what hair does to your face. You also might want to consider a really good skin care system for oily skin. I am a natural homeopathic type person and like using essential oils and aromatherapy, along with natural as can be products. Arbonne skin care system has a website you can go to and purchase their products. It's best to become a distributor though as you will get a 35% discount and it only costs $29 to become a distributor. Excellent product...promise!

wash with cleanser specially made for your skin type. buy some of those clean and clear oil sheets. and powder is always a must for buildup during the day when there's no time to wash.
