Trying not to freak out here. I am 12 weeks pregnant and thus far it has been picture perfect. I had an ultrasound at 10 weeks and that baby was all flipping around and active. However....tonight..just tonight...I have started getting some brownish discharge that looks like the stuff that you get in the days before you period starts for real. I am not having any cramping to speak of...and it's not a lot of discharge....just little blobs the size of a pencil eraser when I wipe. Has anyone had this experience? I know of people who had period type stuff all thru perfectly normal pregnancies...just wondering if anyone else had any thoughts. Thanks.

I hope all is well. From my experience I have 2 children and had one miscarriage. I did have a discharge during my pregnancies, which is very common. When I miscarried I had pain in my stomach and a very bloody discharge. Please don't hesitate to call your doctor's office or go to the ER and they will give an ultra sound immediately!

You want to go in for another pregnancy test. The pregnancy hormone increases as each week passes. If your baby is fine the hormone will be within a number range. Also an ultrasound would indicate the layout of the pregnancy and that the baby was moving.

Yes, there was a pregnant girl at my school who had no idea that she was pregnant. She had her period throughout. She played volleyball the night before delivering on the dorm bathroom floor.

I had some blood and the mountain GP told me I would probably miscarry, but he miscalculated the hormone range.

You should call your dr. Dont worry about bothering them. You will end up dishing out tons for your pregnacy make em work for it. If you recently had sex it could be because of that. Your cervix is very sinstive and engorged with blood so a slight bump can cause it to bleed alittle. Brown blood is old blood so that means it took a while to get out. If it turns pink that is not a good sign. If it turns bright red and gets heavyer you need to go to ER right away. Also any cramping go to ER. If you are really worried about it call your dr and then go to the ER to be checked out. Hopefully its nothing.

You should probably go to the ER. I know people freak out and they are scared to go but really when you are pregnant you can't be too safe.

Your doc should have a 24hr line. Call it Now! If not go to the ER. You should always take spotting seriously during pregnancy.

Call your doctor in the morning. It could be nothing, but your doctor can do some tests and know for sure.
Another thing, try not to worry.
