I have the same problem. Be careful using a ton of different products. I use Mary Kay Timewise cleanser and oil-free lotion. My skin is the worst in the spring and summer. If you do decide to use powder. Try it in the morning and see how you look at noon. I pack on the powder in the morning, and my makeup stays put all day. In the afternoon, it looks as though I have a natural glow. Many companies offer oil-absorbing sheets. Those might help as well. I have also used a cream that will give a matte finish and block oil from Yves Rocher.

Only thing I can say is oily skin may be a bother; but at almost 42 years old, I have no wrinkles because I still have oily skin. I wash my face 3 times a day with soap and don't wear makeup much. But when I do, I wear Ben Nye make up with translucent powder. So try to just keep your face clean and if you feel the need to get rid of the shine dab your face with a touch of powder and wash it off when you get home so your pores can breath.

The best advice I can give you is to get oil blotting sheets, they will instantly suck up the oil and the package is so compact that they can fit in a purse for on the go instances. A powder can suck up some of the oil but too much is a bad thing. Applying too much foundation can actually make your face more oily.

Use a cleanser AND toner for oily skin. If you need to use a liquid foundation, use one made for oily skin. Keep some blotters in your purse- they are like sponges! and they don't ruin your makeup.
You can find all this on my website.

I use a translucent covergirl powder, and one of those big brushes. I carry it with me in my bag and it takes 2 seconds to give you face and all over brush of powder. Don't use the pad that comes with the compact powder though, you need a fluffy brush, it will go on more lightly and naturally. Works like a charm!!
