my neighbors are a disfunctional bunch of trash... they work on thier car at all hours... the 14 year old daughter (overweight) walks around with her ta-ta's hangin out.. and plays grab *** in the driveway (which is between our houses) at ALL HOURS of the night.. the little children are always filthy and running out in the street. I am sitting here now listening to the drunk father and a friend laughing, drinking, and working on a car.. IT IS 10:45 pm.. and I have infant twins sleeping inside.
I have already had to turn the city loose on them for piling about 20 bags of garbage outside thier backdoor... I am ready to call DCFS.. but I dont want any trouble.. I just want them to respect my right to peace and quiet.. I am at my wits end.. PLEASE HELP

I split a double driveway with these "people".. and our houses are really close. I am a quiet person.. unless the babies are up.. I even gave them an airconditioner this summer for the little ones..
I have also asked them several times to keep it down before... they know they are bothering the entire neighborhood.. no one else carries on at night like they do.. they live in the only rental house on the block.

the landlord lives several states away and really could care less.. he is a slum lord.. I have tried to go thru him before.. looks like I may be calling the police.. but the hubby doesnt want me to get involved.. he would rather I ignore them...

I feel for you, you need to call the police every time they disturb you there braking the law smoking pot and disturbing the peace, they wont even know who's calling the police on them it could be another neighbor for all they know,

About the only thing you can do is call the police,you can tell the police that you do not wish to be identified if you are concerned about the neighbors trying to retaliate and if they do,call the police again.I think the neighbors will eventually get tired of having the police called on them and if they have any sense,they will stop all the nonsense.You mentioned the key word,they are renting,have you ever considered complaining to their landlord as well? If they keep the disturbance up,I don't think their landlord would be too pleased to know he has tenants that are making a disturbance.But only do that if it gets to that point.

It's not fiar for the kids to be in an enviromen like that.. try calling scocial services anonimously.. then parents will then get the message

Call the police for a noise violation. You can get them ticketed.
Either that or move.

videotape all this and then find out who owns the house and let the owners see whats going on. i think you can find out who owns the house through the property tax department. i'm sure they can get evicted.
