Liberals tend to look over these facts when it comes to Bush-bashing. They get every chance they get even though their facts are skewed and greatly distorted. So instead, they place their hope in a foreign dictator who has called for the death of America nad has buddied up with Islamic terrorists. Yep, it sounds like a typical libtard to me.

The fact that Chavez and the Americans that went to the neighborhoods is only a tribute to the United States that we allow the freedom not only for our own to speak their mind, but we allow people on our shores who have insulted and threatened our leaders and the American people, to freely travel our country.
Let us try the same thing in Venezuela. We are a forgiving and tolerant people. For those who are always trashing our country, just look at what happened today and say the US is intolerant and unforgiving.
I for one think we should have kicked his but away from us, but that is not the kind of country we are.
I will definitely boycott Citgo. A boycott, OH MY! Where are the burning effigies of Chavez? Where are the neighborhood bombs?
Incidentally, regarding the graph, Clinton started the trade contracts and outsourcing. Bush had to pick it up. All that crap needs to be junked.

The US is not responsible for all the poor and minorities of Venezuela or any other country. If we give money to the poor it's because we want to. Chavez needs to do something about 80% of his people living in poverty. That is his job although he is not doing it very well. Where is all that oil money going to?

The United States has 260 billionaires. The next largest country has 26. Their should never be a mention of poverty in this country or the world for that matter. Unfortunately, human greed is apart of our decadent nature, so we must endure this life knowing that a person less than a 100 miles away went to sleep with no feed on his table.... Yes Bush as the leader of the Free World has a social responsibility to make sure that basic human rights are the focus of a prosperous nation.

Poor wealth distribution in Latin America goes back centuries and is hardly the fault of any one president. Venezuela has done better that some Latin American countries because of its oil wealth, but it would hardly be surprising or novel that wealth there is concentrated in the hands of a few.
At the attached link (found by searching on some basic search terms like ) I found that "From 1970-1998 per capita income in Venezuela fell by 35 percent". The problem of Latin American poverty hardly came to office with Hugo Chávez, and despite his populism and promises to the poor it's not surprising that it hasn't gone away.

chavez makes me wonder if he is even a good guy, recently he called bush the leader of a mafia. i think the guy is out of his tree and should be looking to his own country to fix his problems, not calling a man who has made progress the leader of a mob or the devil.

I like his Independence, but have not been able to find out what he said to comment on it. It surprised me how fast that story died.. Look today at three major papers and nothing was said. What was poverty level in Venezuela before he took office.

The fact that Chavez hates Bush makes me love Bush a lot more. Liberals are so blind by the world social movement they dont question it.
