I hate them. Thank you so much for bringing this to people's attention! Their popularity makes as much sense as the Ugg Boot trend. They're like plastic-looking Birkenstocks (yet another ugly shoe) and they're not even all that comfortable. Why, God, WHY?!

They may not be very good looking, but they're comfortable. I developed an inflammation of the muscles in the soles of my feet that made walking or even standing very painful. My doctor recommended I wear Crocs with gel insoles, and that's helped immensely. Everything else hurts my feet, but when I wear my Crocs I can actually walk more than a block without limping.

They are sooo ugly. I have a pair that are bright orange. I use them only to do yard work, since I know I will never lose shoes that bright and ugly out in the yard.

Depends who wears them. They look great on slightly shorter, stockier guys for e.g. Not for you if you're a tall and willowy girl.
