I think happiess is found in what you think about yourself. (when it comes to yourself!) If you like the way you look with makeup on and you get positive feedback from it, it will make you happy. And the same goes for if you don't like yourself with makeup, you probably won't be happy with yourself.

In a way, yes. Ever since I was a kid, I've found joy in makeup. It's so much fun to play with. You can come up with so many different looks and there's such a wide variety of color. I know I look just fine without any makeup and I have no problem whatsoever appearing in public with a bare face. I just love putting on makeup. It's fun for me. So yes, makeup does make a difference in my overall happiness.

Yes.....the way you feel is influenced by your appearance especially in my occupation where I mingle with adult students all day.........some days the makeup and hair just right makes me feel able to conquer the tasks of the day ahead....some bad hair days make me cautious and on the defense....I have to say YES from personal experience.... Today was a great day!!!!
Some may say inner strength comes from being satisfied and comfortable with ones self...I agree, but attention to the whole self as a "package" for you and all that see you increases your ability to present yourself as that great person you want to be too...

It depends on my mood initially. If I'm feeling really icky it can boost my spirits. Most days I don't think I even pay that much attention to how it makes me feel, because usually it's a reflection of my mood, as opposed to a lifter of my mood.

well makeup can build up a person's self esteem and confidence more so im guessing it can.. but its not as all important as other things that really make people happy.

i could never understand why women feel the need to wear makeup. It tells me they are generally unhappy with themselves. There is a need to increase their look which has it origins in protitution. To bad.

I totally feel sooo much better when I have make-up on. It just helps to give me that extra boost of confidence, is that weird???
