Best time to get pg is during Ovulation......
The only way for you to know if you are ovulating is to take your basal body temp each morn, same time and before you get up. You should see a pattern in temps that leads up to and after ovulation. You can get the basal thermometer at Wal-Mart for about 8 dollars. I use a wonderful FREE website called Fertilityfriend.com...it graphs your temps for you, keeps track of your fertility signs, tells you when you ovulate and also tells you if there is an implantation dip in your temps. You can also use Ovulation prediction kits, but they only measure your LH surge and give you a ball park time for ovulation...they do not pin point it.

You know what I've been doin alot of reading in quite a few books because I'm trying for last but not least my last baby and my husband is kinda low on his tank and he wants a baby really bad. So I've been trying to do my research for us, Anyway enough about me an my issue. Some docs.& nurses say both before and after but, One of the books I read said 14 days before you period(if you keep track of it) are your fertilest stages , And it even tells you how to tell when your ovulating. The mucus will be like the clear part of an egg. When it's like that those are times when your ovulating so start paying attention to that and maybe get you an ovulation kit to let you know when the oven is hot an ready to bake. Sweetie,yes u can get pregnant during either time.Those are usually your more fertile times of the month.Usually u won't really know unless u keep a close check on your reg body temp.But otherwise u won't know with out a kit to test for that and then it will tell u.

no sex is safe because if you should be coming on your period the next day there is still a possible chance of you becoming pregnant because the egg can still become fertilized and attach it self to vagina lining and result in a pregnancy.

the 28 day cycle starts when u start your period. around the 14th- 20th day your suppost to ovulate. so after your period youv'e been into your cycle for atleast 5-7 days. so i would try a couple days after.

u can get pregnant by working out your cycle on a callender , 1st mark the 1st day of bleeding then count 11days from that 1st day u wil get pregnant from the 11th to around 17 day of your cycle from that 1st day of bleeding not the last u must count the 1st

i suggest you talk to a doctor before trying to concieve. your health can have a direct impact on a unborn child. while you are getting your check-up. your doctor can answer any questions you have about getting pregnant. write them down before the appointment to make sure you leave no stone unturned.
