my ps2 controller's analog sticks are loose. How do take them apart and fix?

It's best to just get new ones because they're just plain worn out and there's little if anything you can do to repair them, sorry to say :(=

A very small screwdriver, and patience. Be careful, stuff likes to fall out, so you have to open it real slow, else you'll have stuff flying. Have some Q-tips and alcohol handy so you can clean it too. Not too much alcohol. I've had to clean out the koolaid and pop many times. I'm not sure about loose analogs though. Good luck!!

Throw 'em out. Get new one now.
