They are still harping on Naggin, even though he was re-elected. They are still unwilling to accept that there were phone calls placed before the storm hit by both Naggin and Brown to the President, while he was eating birthday cake with McCain. It just couldn't be that the administration can take any of the blame for this tragedy. I have said this countless times, Katrina was such a disaster because Naggin or Brown aren't related to Bush. I was part of the National Guard in Florida, anytime it even smelled like a hurricane ol' Jeb called up Dubya and had us and FEMA crawling all over the place before the storm even hit. FEMA was told to wait until 2 days after the storm before moving in on New Orleans. Which, I was there also as a National Guardsmen aiding, and you can ask any National Guard member that has done hurricane rescue operations, that those in Louisiana were less coordinated and funded than those in Florida have ever been regardless of the size of the storm.

House Al Qaedacrats voted in lock step in defiance of the American people to require a picture ID when voting. H.R.4844 seeks to prevent fraud in the election process by requiring photo identification for voters in federal elections. A recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll showed 81% of those surveyed favored an ID requirement for voting. In another poll conducted by Rasmussen, 77% of likely voters across the country agree that displaying a photo ID should be required to cast a vote.

A vote for Al Qaedacrats is a vote for surrender, appeasement, amnesty, voter fraud and no border security,

Republicans....Desperate??? How do you figure this, when they control the whole damn world. If something's not done about the voting process. They found a way to steal the vote and they'll keep doing it as long as they can get away with it. And democrats are just as dirty. Democrats and Republicans traded places during the Reagan era. Am I the only one that sees this? All politicians are crooks. And when everyone finally sees this, we'll elect the so called antichrist and he'll be the biggest deceiver of all.
As far as the response to Katrina, you really can't blame anyone except the people who want to live below sea level in a hurricane zone.duh! It even sits on a bed of water. Dig down 3 or 4 ft. and you hit water. That's why the dead are above ground in concrete boxes. N.O. is a cool town, I lived and worked there until I learned a little about it. It has always been a disaster waiting to happen. They trusted a man made wall to hold back the ocean. Think!

1st of all FEMA is not a 1st responder it is a slow moving organization that moves national aspects across the country.
2nd Katrina happened due to the lack of local concern to a major oncoming castasrophe
3rd 99 % of modern logistics were cut off from the city- what can you do if you can't move anything
4th Nothing came under control until Bush put an admiral in charge of saving the people - the military and its high level of organization came through fopr the country.

with the severity of the disaster it was something which a technological country had never experinced before.
I question your national guard membership or if you are your placement in it all since my brother aided in the distribution of food to people in New orleans.

It all goes down to plan B frankly Louisiana had none while Gov. Bush did. Look u have Korea with Nukes, Iran threating Israel, and Bin Landen on the loose producing videos. The poor people of New Orleans relected a person with no plans and a big mouth and they got leadership of a ill prepared Mayor.

if the president of the USA claims not to have knowledge of the biggest disasters in history, were in trouble, everybody with a brain knows the facts,, the videos don't lie,, Bush was not aware of 9-11 for 20 minutes after the first plane hit......
he claims he knew nothing of Katrina until 3 days after the hurricane.....

properly, the Republicans opt to win this election so badly that they're going to use any nasty grimy trick interior the e book. even with the indisputable fact that, they have a collection of skeletons interior the closet like the Bush administration, Sarah Palin's Alaska regime, and McCain's no longer so heroic previous with going hostile to women's rights.

"that those in Louisiana were less coordinated and funded"

Your words....isn't that the priority of the STATE?
It isn't FEMA's job to organize, every town, city, state in the union for disaster, it is their job to RESPOND when called upon to do so, and they did. As best they could with the mass confusion on the ground directly due to lack of planning by the mayor and the Governor.
LET IT GO MAN!! It's been over a year.
IF you want to weep, weep for those in Miss. who got the shaft!

Well, it hasn't got anything to do with President Bush>>>you
all just want someone to blame> The Governors of Florida
and Mississippi got to work, got help (lots of volunteers), and
started clearing debris out of roads so help could get to them.
Remember that N.O. was under water, had no communications,
and roads were all closed and under water. Florida and Mississ-
ippi were just well co-ordinated and their governors need to be
commended.

I think the Republicans are going to win, they are going to retain control of Congress, and they will probably win the Presidency again in 2008. They control the churches, the "press", the courts, the media, plus lets be honest, the public is stupid. Real stupid. The people of Ohio voted on the so called issue of gay marriage in 2004, even tho Bush, who they voted for, supported tax breaks for companies that send American jobs overseas. Its insane. But the public has proven itself to be shallow, easily manipulated, and stupid. No state has been hurt more by jobs going overseas than Ohio, but that didn't matter to them when they voted, they just wanted to show how much they hate gay people. Fine. Now they are unemployed. Good, thats what they voted for.
