Denounce does NOT mean to say something bad. Get that straight first. Instead, it means to condemn something, deny something or to declare something unworthy.
"I denounce the belief some people have in superstitions."
There is my use in a sentence of "denounce". I am saying that superstitions are unworthy of belief by reasonable people. I am saying that superstitions are false by nature.
