1. Bleeding- this could be an emergency... especially when there is separation of the placenta from the wall. You may experience pain in the abdominal area. Or bleeding could signify a spontaneous abortion.

2. Ectopic pregnancy- where the egg is implanted anywhere but the uterus (usually on the fallopian tube). u may have severe abdominal pain if it ruptures.
