Today, 40% of American adults approve of the way that President Bush is performing his job and 57% disapprove. That's a one point drop from yesterday. His approval rating has remained around the same level since last Sunday.
I'm surprised it's not lower.

Because we live in a Constitutional Republic, not a Parliamentary system like in Great Britain or Israel. We do not have "no confidence" votes while an elected official is in office. We have regular elections and we we have term limited presidencies., That alone makes us the Great Superpower in the world. A free and liberal democracy,( even with its many flaws) is the best system of making tough decisions. And rarely leads to "President for life" scenarios. But, our constitution does make allowances to rid ourselves of criminals in office. It is called Impeachment. And the burden is enormous to prove guilt is those types of proceedings. This President has had to make unbeliveable descisions based on amorphous facts, he has done so with the best of intentions. The descisions he has had to make would destroy most people, which is why we elect presidents to begin with. History will deal with him far better than is current political rivals will ever give him credit for. He has taken us through a terrorist attack, Two wars and several major disasters, all without the economy exploding and driving us into an unbelievable depression. The only president before him who has had to deal with such world changing problems was President Abraham Lincoln, his critics thought him a buffoon and that he was trampling on the Constitution as well. See how history judges Lincoln. And you be the Judge.

Because he won the election and then was re-elected.
Also remember most polls are not specific enough,
do you think bush is doing a bad job. Well if you ever read my posts I think Rush is too liberal, but I don't like what Bush has done on the Border, and I think he did not do enough attacking in Iraq. So I think he has not done enough,
It does not mean that I would ever want Kerry or Hilary in office, but that Bush has done some things I don't like, but he has done alot I love.
So you can't trush the polls they mean little as to what people really think.
He is still running an overall 45 to 55 overall, about the same as when the election ran.

Hey, get with the program.
His latest approval rating was 47%!!
You wouldn't know that because your Liberal media didn't exactly make that report front page news.
Those numbers really pee in the dem's cornflakes, eh?
Especially with gas and oil prices dropping, the interest rate steady, jobless rate is down and elections are right around the corner ........
What's that I hear...Waaaaaaaaaaa

Because in order to impeach him and his cabinet they'd have to restructure the entire government. The same thing happened with Nixon, Regan, Clinton, and now Bush. All our leaders are corrupt, the system is corrupt, and we're just holding onto bare threads as it collapses around us.

News flash, Sparky...Bush's numbers are well over 40 percent today. I'm sure there will be days ahead when it is lower, but I can also believe there will be days when it is higher. If a public servant makes all his decisions on the daily polls, he will get nothing done. He serves us all better by doing WHAT IS RIGHT and to HeLL with the polls!!

The same way Democrats can vote against something more that 80% of Americans want.
House Al Qaedacrats voted in lock step in defiance of the American people to require a picture ID when voting. H.R.4844 seeks to prevent fraud in the election process by requiring photo identification for voters in federal elections. A recent NBC/Wall Street Journal poll showed 81% of those surveyed favored an ID requirement for voting. In another poll conducted by Rasmussen, 77% of likely voters across the country agree that displaying a photo ID should be required to cast a vote.
A vote for Al Qaedacrats is a vote for surrender, appeasement, amnesty, voter fraud and no border security,
