The death of Julius Ceaser lead to the fall of Rome because Augustus (Octavian) took over and started an empire. Rome did not fall itself the the Roman REPUBLIC fell. It was the end of the republic and a beginning of an empire where there was an emporer who made all the decisions.

It didn't! The fall of Rome was the result of lead poisoning. They used lead in the manufacturing of their plumbing, eating and drinking utensils. The elite succumbed to mental and physical problems, and could not bear children, therefore, they could not hold their power and position.
