Ok I was happy to make a new friend about a year ago. I loved her smiled and enjoyed talking with her. Over the year little things started to happen, like she would make snide comments about my kids, I lost 50 pounds going all the way down to a size 14 she gained another 50 pounds going up to a size 30. I talked about spending money on a tummy tuck and she went off on me that I should save money for my kids education. She buys $400 coach bags and goes on cruises I suggested she get the stomach band surgery. She laughs about f***ing her neighbors husband who just had a baby, I couldn't understand how that was funny. She thinks I am stubborn, I think she's selfish and greedy.
Is it time to end this friendship?

That or the two of you need a long talk!

There's definately issues there, you can work on one or two and vent a little bit, express yourself carefully or let this blow up.

Doesn't sound much like friendship at the moment.

Thats sad thats she's like that. I don't think your problem is the kids thing I think it's because she is a jerk. If she F**** her neighbors husband and laughs about it who's to say your marriage is sacred to her? It sounds like she's a little jealous. Or a lot jealous :-)

Yes friends are going to go thru changes in there relationship.See if the two of you can work it out without you losing a friend in the process. In my opinion she's jealous of you.

Yes. Thats horrible that she would say things like that to you, and from what you said it sounds like it doesn't even count as a friendship anymore regardless.

i dont think there is any problem with a married mother having a friendship with a single women.....im a married mother and have several single girlfriends of which we get along fantastically
i think your problem is with whom you chose to befriend.......
this women brags about playing around with married men...that alone says alot about her character.............you dont need a friend like her kick her to the curb.......shes probably jealous of you and your situation end it
