The oil in there was knowing thousands of years ago and it was used to paint ships and other uses, but U.S. companies first produce it in commercial way and it took 30 years to nationalize the oil industry and hand it in to the royal family so they increased their dictatorship and their wealth . But the oil still sold in U.S. $ .
