Umm movies can't be converted into Mp3 format. Mp3 Format is for audio only. The format you are probably talking about is Mpeg. What kind of iPod do you have, if you have a Nano you can't play movies on it. You can only play movies on the iPod Video.

Movies CAN be "converted" into MP3 format, but you can't watch MP3s; you can only listen to them. You can convert them to MP3 by downloading the program at the link below, called SUPER Converter.
If you want to WATCH them on your iPod, assuming you have iTunes, download the SUPER Converter from the site below and change the settings to iPod, and drag the file into the program. It will spit out something your iPod can read. Take that file and put it into iTunes, and synch it to your iPod.

lol, noob, mp3 is audio file, not video file. You can't play video on any iPod except the video one. And you have to buy videos from iTunes or you have to buy a program to transfer non-iTunes video to your Ipod Video.
